Ann G. Kottner, 91, of Washington, PA passed quietly on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at The Residence at Hilltop, Monongahela. Born in Washington, PA on June 5, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Judson and Georgia Sarver Crowe.  Ann attended Trinity High School, graduating in 1949.  While there she participated as a majorette.  Also, she was a nanny for a local doctor at that time.  After graduation, on September 28, 1950, she married the late, William W. Kottner Sr.  whom she was married to for 66 years.  In her lifetime Ann worked as a seamstress for Bobbie Brooks Women's Clothing Manufacturer.  She went on to attain a Beautician's License, working for Caldwell Department Store and Josephine's Wig Boutique.  Ann, her husband, and children were members of First United Methodist Church, Washington.  During her marriage, she and her husband enjoyed spending winters in Panama City Beach, Florida in their second home, where shuffle board and golf were their hobbies.  Together they loved to play cards with friends and family, travel, play bingo and follow softball. They loved time spent with their grandchildren to no end.  Ann was always known for her sharp wit and tongue.  She is survived by her son, Dr. William W. Kottner Jr. and wife, Cindy of Washington, as well as a daughter Becky Ann Devore of Washington.  Also surviving are five grandchildren, William Kottner III (Jill), Nathan Kottner (Amber), Brent Kottner (Alexandra), Kristina Hancock (Douglas), Matthew Devore (Jessica), 11 great grandchildren, as well as, several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are a brother, James Crowe, and a sister, Joan Russell.
