Obituary

Anna Grace Yarusinsky 86 of Humber Lane Personal Care Home formerly of Lone Pine died Monday May 6, 2013. She was born in Washington on June 17, 1926 a daughter of Lucido and Stella Lucirn Aloia. She was a 1944 graduate of Washington High School. She worked as a homemaker as well as at various other jobs throughout her life. She worked at Ryngo Market on South Main Street, as a Telephone operator for Bell TelephoneCo. in the 1950's, at Metro Glass Works in Washington, managed All-Pro Chicken at the Washington Mall until it closed, at Gee-Bee Cosmetic Dept in Washington, for Fox Grocery, and at the Kitchen Dept Cafeteria at Bel-Mead. On June 26, 1954 she married George M. Yarusinsky with whom she shared 33 years of marriage before his death in 1987. She was a longtime member of Sts Mary & Ann Catholic Church St Oliver Plunkett Parish of Marianna. She was an avid Bingo player, especially enjoying Marianna, Lone Pine and Cokeburg, , was a social member of the Croatian club in Bentleyville, Grange, loved to cook, bake, and attend card parties. She is survived by two sons Michael G. and wife Mary Kay Yarusinsky of Canonsburg, Daniel L. and wife Joan Aloia of Columbus, two granddaughters Lauren Simmons and Toni Aloia, two grandsons Matt and Kenny Aloia, two step grandsons Joseph and Bryan Bossong, two sisters Matilda "Tillie"" Shawin of Washington, Nancy Jo Gray of Columbus, a brother William B. Aloia of Columbus, as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are a sister Virginia Lemley, brother Domanic "Mickey" Aloia. Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, where funeral services will be held on Thursday May 9, 2-13 at 10:00a.m. with Chaplain Jim Schmitt officiating. Interment will follow in Sts. Mary and Ann Cemetery, Marianna. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer society.
