Barbara L. Loar, 68 , of West Finley died Saturday October 17, 2015 in her home. She was born in Washington on November 11, 1946, a daughter of Harley E. and Janet R. Golubosky Green. She attended Washington schools. She worked as a medical records clerk for Humbert Lane Health Care Facility in Washington for several years. She served as secretary for the West Finley Volunteer Fire Company. She shared over 40 years of marriage with Harold C. Loar, Sr who died June 24, 2005. She is survived by a daughter Janet Lynne Anderson of West Finley and a son Harold C. "Junior" Loar, Jr and wife Cathy of Prosperity, three sisters Ellen Bamberger, Betty Jean Thomas, Brenda Fields all of Washington, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are a son Sean Harold Loar, and brother Robert Green. Family and friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington where funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 20, 2015 at 11:00a.m. with Rev. Darrell Cramer officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery.
