Barbara Alice Reese

Barbara Alice Reese, 71, of Washington, formerly of Marianna, died October 1, 2026 in Transitions, Washington, PA.  She was born at home in Marianna, on June 24, 1955, a daughter of the late Homer Ray and Dorothy May McMurray Reese.  She was a 1975 graduate of Bethlehem Center High School and then went on to work as an aide for state hospitals throughout the area for 38 years.  She was a member of Marianna Methodist Church.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved to crochet.    She enjoyed her weekly "sisters" day.  She is survived by two sisters Deborah Ann Fortunato (husband Mark) and Vicki Marlene Adams (late husband Louis), half brothers Tony Reese (wife Helen) and Michael Reese, niece Virginia(husband Phillip) Wadsworth, great niece Rebecca Ann and great nephew Victor Lee, as well as five great great nieces and nephews.  Deceased in addition to her parents is a brother Homer Ray Reese Jr.  A private burial will be held at a later date.
