Blanche E. Crile, 79, of Marianna, PA, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014 in her daughter's home. She was born June 8, 1934 a daughter of the late Garland Briggs and Idell Rasel Briggs. Mrs. Crile was married to Roy E. Crile, Sr. who passed away April 15, 1998.. She was a custodian for many years for the Bethlehem Center School District retiring in 1999. Mrs. Crile was a member of the First Christian Church in Marianna. She was president of PSEA Union from 1984 - 1999, President of Youth Baseball in Marianna, Member of Marianna Lyceum and American Legion Bowling League in Marianna and Bentleyville. Lifetime member of Field and stream Club, Member of Marianna volunteer fire Company. She enjoyed traveling and craft shows. She is survived by her sisters Ada Hines, Amity, PA, Shirley Higgs, Ravenna, OH, Ruby Conrad, Buffalo, OH, Arlene Edgar, Marianna, PA,M Cora Palmieri (Mike), Millsboro, DE and her brother Grayson Briggs, Dover, DE. She is also survived by her children, S. Christine Sakel (Joseph), Marianna, PA, Roy E.. Crile, Jr. (Debra), Richeyville, PA, Robert A. Crile, Richmond, Virginia, Lee A. Crile (Dawn) of Bozeman, MT. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren Jamie Livingston "Sonny", Joseph E. Sakel, Jr. (Cathy), Christina L. Walker (Dale), Tara L. Crile, Moranda Andes (Pete), and Marena Martinez (Mike), 11 great grandchildren, Zakhary Abbott, Emily Joy Sakel, Alyssah Sakel, Nathan Walker,Alexis Logan, Elizabeth Logan, Wyatt Logan, Lucas Andes, Levi Andes, Mikey Martinez, Domonic Martinez and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by the Nichol funeral Home, 1728 Main Street, Marianna, PA 15333. Visitation will be Monday, May 12, 2014 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at the funeral home with the rev. Joann Nelson officiating. Burial will be at the Horn cemetery, Marianna, PA.Memorial donations be sent to the First Christian church in Marianna, PA.
