Charles "Spike" Morris Sr. 85 of Washington died at the home of his son Ronald Morris and Paula Berry on Tuesday January 31, 2012. He was born a son of the late Ross and Anna Morris. He enjoyed farming and County Faris. Mr. Morris worked at Washington Rubber Company and then 17 years for Washington Mould until his retirement. On June 1, 1951 he married Iva J. Burt with whom he shared 59 years of marriage before her passing on December 30, 2010. He is survived by four sons DewayneMorris of Washington, Ronald (Paula Berry) Morris of Washington, Gary Morris of Ohio, Jeff (Sue) Morris of Washington, five grandchildren Tavis Rutan, Jeffrey Morris, Amanda White, Tonda Morris, lisa Morris, two great granddaughters Kalynn and Hannah as well as many nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his wife and parents are 2 brothers Fred and George Morrise, and two sisters Geroldean Riggs and Mary Morris, grandson Travis Morris. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday Febrary 3, 2012.
