Charles W. Townsend 66 of Washington died December 5,2012 in his home. He was born in Georgetown Delaware a son of Wallace P. and June Glanding Townsend. He was a 1974 graduate of Georgetown High School. He worked as a horse trainer for Steve LaBlanc and Robert Keep. Mr. Townsend enjoyed horses, sports, and collecting coins. On October 7, 1989 he married the love of his life the late Cynthia Tucker Townsend. He is survived by his sister Kathy (Russ) Cooper, Del, brother Pete (Cindy) Townsend both of Rehoboth Beach Delaware, mother-in-law Virginia Tucker, close friends Robert and Karen Creek, as well as 4 nieces and 3 nephews. Deceased in addition to his wife are his parents. At the request of the deceased there will be no public services.
