Charles Curtin Williams Jr. 83, of Washington died Friday June 1, 2018 in his home. He was born in Scenery Hill on January 23, 1935 a son of the late Charles Curtin and Wilkie Townsend Williams. He attended Marianna schools. He worked at Fairmont Supply Co. in Washington as a truck driver for many years, before retiring as a supervisor in 1996. He enjoyed being a cub scout leader and loved farming. On June 26, 1954 he married Leah E. Addleman with whom he has shared almost 64 years of marriage. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son Rondall C. Williams of Washington, a daughter Diana K. Williams of Amity, two sisters Erma Stowinsky and Linda (Larry) Bowman, as well as many nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his parents are three brothers Denver Williams, John "Rex" Williams, Franklin Delano Williams, and three sisters Madelyn Craig, Bernadine Saffle, and Sheila Pallett. Family and friends will be received Tuesday June 5, 2018 from 2-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.
