Chester Paul Wilson 81 of Washington, died Thursday June 5, 2014 in the Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Twp. He was born in Washington on March 29, 1933 a son of the late Arthur and Mildred Porter Wilson. He was a 1950 graduate of Trinity High School and then went on to join the United States Navy in which he proudly served until his honorable discharge in 1954. He worked for the United States Postal Service, delivering mail in the Washington area for more than 31 years until his retirement. After his retirement from the USPS he worked at the Medicine Shoppe in Washington. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Evangelical Church. He was a former member of American Legion Post 175 of Washington. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. On May 16, 1987 he married Peg Wise Wilson. Surviving in addition to his wife of 27 years are a daughter Diane Wilson of Tennessee, two stepsons Larry Wise of Florida, Kevin D. (Stacey) Wise of Washington, two stepgrandsons Kevin Wise and Michael Wise both of Washington, step granddaughter Alyssa L. Wise of Washington, sister JoAnne (John) Yoders of Florida, several nieces and nephews, as well as his ex wife Nancy Wilson of Washington. Family and friends will be received in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington on Friday from 2-8p.m. Additional visitation will be held Saturday June 7, 2014 from 1:00-2:00p.m. the time of service with Pastor Pete D. Asplin officiating in the Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church 21 Church Road Scenery Hill Pa 15360. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery.
