Clare "Jean" Miles 80 of Canton Twp, Washington died Tuesday September 9, 2014 in Kindred Hospital, Oakdale. She was born on March 9, 1934, a daughter of Roy and Alice Theakston McCoy. She attended Washington High School and later graduated from Trinity High School. She worked as a cashier for Giant Eagle until her retirement in 1999. Mrs. Miles was a member of the Arms Club in Washington, and the United Food and Commercial Workers Union. She married Robert Miles who died in 1978. She is survived by a son Ron Miles of Washington, brother Elmer and wife Maggi McCoy of Gillette, Wyoming as well as many nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are two sisters Shirley Kelley, Nila DeSensi, and brother Andy McCoy. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 6-8p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington where funeral services will be held on Saturday September 13, 2014 at 11:00a.m. Interment will follow in Forrest Lawn Gardens, McMurray
