Clarence R. "Bob" Edgar, 88 of Washington died Monday November 17, 2025 in his home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Ruff Creek on April 2, 1937, a son of the late Clarence S. and Dorothy Church Edgar.   Bob loved growing up on the farm in Ruff Creek, going out to hunt with his brother and riding their pony.   He graduated from Washington High School in 1955.He later took classes at University of Pittsburgh for business.    On July 10,1954 he married Marian J. McBride with whom he shared over 61 years of marriage before her passing on March 4, 2016.  Bob was very proud of his work and that he worked for Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania for over 45 years, retiring as a supervisor.  He was a member of the Arms Club, American legion Post 175 of Washington, enjoyed hunting, riding his ATV, being outside, and taking rides, going home the "long way".  He loved to travel, particularly out west and when he could with his granddaughters.  He is survived by a daughter Debbie Link and husband Robert of Eighty Four, son Robert Edgar of Long Beach, CA, three granddaughters Kimberly Knox of Surprise, AZ,  Kristen (Brad) Cunic of Canonsburg, Kelly (Andrew) Martin of Canonsburg, five great grandchildren Rebecca Knox, Francis Cunic, Marian Cunic, Finley Martin, Stetson Martin, a brother-in-law David McBride, as well as several nieces and nephews.   Deceased in addition to his wife and parents are a daughter Robin Anglin, and a brother Ralph "Ike" Edgar.
