Beloved wife and mother Cleona Mae Harden 74 of Deemston died August 17 2011 in her home following a short illness. She was born September 10, 1936 a daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth King. She was a 1954 graduate of Beth-Joint High School. She married Homer Harden on April 3, 1955. They enjoyed a 57 year loving relationship. Cleona was very active in the family carpet installation business for over 37 years. She also worked hard on the family vegetable farm up until her illness. Cleona enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, yard sales and traveling. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Writing was one of her passions. She was very proud of a column she wrote for a local paper titled "Conversation at Granny's Gate". She is survived by her husband Homer Lee Harden, children Howard L. (Vicky) Harden of Blaine, TN, Homer D. (Chris) Harden of St Clairsville, Ohio, Sheila (Fred) McConn of Deemston,. And Diana Johnson of Deemston, 7 grandchildren Matthew Harden, Karen Kerstetter, Ashley Milcheck, Renee Milcheck, Jennifer Johnson, Emily Harden, Kathrine Harden, 3 step grandchildren Jay McConn, Nicole McConn, Jessica Hilborn, 2 great grandchildren Lola Mae Milcheck and Melina Mort, as well as 2 step great grandchildren Skyelar McConn and Keagan Hilborn.
