Daniel Carl Rowe, 87 of Marianna went home to be with the Lord on Friday February 3, 2023.  He was born in McKeesport on October 10, 1935, only son of the late Daniel Carl Rowe Sr. and Lena Anderson Rowe.   He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 20 years from 1954-1974 before retiring as Master Sergeant.   He then worked as a self-employed farmer for over 50 years.  During that time he and his wife fostered many children.  Dan attended the First Baptist Church of Pittgas.  Surviving, in addition to his wife of 68 years, Rosella Jenkins Rowe, whom he married on January 6, 1955 are a granddaughter Brandi Marie Danko, a great granddaughter Makala Rose, and a niece.  Deceased in addition to his parents are a son Barry Allen Rowe, sister Lulu Mae Rowe Chandler.  Family and friends will be received Friday from 1:00-4:00p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Pittgas, 171 First Street Clarksville, PA 15322 where a homegoing service will be held on Saturday February 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr James C. Cherry Sr, Pastor, officiating.  Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.  Full Military Rites will be accorded by United States Air Force Honor Guard.  An online guestbook may be signed at www.nicholfuneralhome.com
