Darlene Harrison 71 of Washington died Friday April 4, 2014 in the Washington County Health center Chartiers Twp. She was born in Pittsburgh on December 10, 1942 a daughter of the late Oliver and Leona Skinner Binder. She loved to tend her flowers, enjoyed making cookies for the holidays and loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially loving to take them fishing and camping. She enjoyed spending time in the pool with her dog Skippy and sitting on the porch with him as well. Surviving are her fiancé Robert Cottrill of Washington, four children Bobby (Queenie) Harrison of Elizabeth, Cindy (Paul) Parkinson of Houston, Diana Haggerty of Washington, Mike Harrison of Butler, Her dog Skippy whom she considered her child, two brothers Sam Binder, and Ronny Binder, seven grandchildren Kristen Haggerty, Jessica Neill, Richard (Emily) Neill, Felicia (Keil) Haggerty, Barrett Kotovsky, Mandie Harrison, Senette Harrison, twelve great grandchildren. Deceased in addition to her parents are a son Barry Harrison and a grandchild Shena Haggerty. At the request of the deceased there will be no public services. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
