David Keys, 79, of Sun City Center, FL (formerly of Clarksville and Washington) died Thursday March 12, 2020.

He was born December 22, 1940 in Fredericktown, a son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Morgan Keys.

He attended Bethlehem Joint Schools and went on to work as an Assistant Construction Engineer for PennDot and later for TW Consultants before his retirement.

From 1963 to 1965, David served his country in the United States Army.

On April 4, 1964, he married the former Barbara Shargots, who died in 2002.

Dave enjoyed swimming, traveling, working on his home, spending time with his grandchildren, dogs, old TV shows, a good steak, going for a drive, cars and shopping.

He is survived by his daughter; Michelle (John) Wolen of Valley Grove, WV as well as a brother; Lieutenant General (Ret.) William M. Keys of Hume, VA.

In addition, he is survived by six grandchildren; Codey Graham, Austin Graham, Blake Graham, Gabriel Wolen, Raphael Wolen and Amelia Wolen.

Deceased, in addition to his parents and late wife are a brother, Dennis Keys and a step sister, Judy Campbell.

Friends will be received from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm Sunday, March 15, 2020 in the Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street Washington where a funeral service will be held Monday, March 16 ^th with Pastor Tim Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna with military honors accorded by the American Legion Steele Lillie Post 744.
