Diana Tatiana Korn, 94 years old, died on Monday November 30, 2015 at home after a lengthy illness. , She is survived by a daughter Catherine Burnet of Bangor, PA and a son Joseph Korn Jr. of Washington, PA and one grandson Richard Burnet of Bangor, PA . Her husband Joseph Korn Sr. died November 29, 1999. She had two brothers, Alexander and George Golubowsky and one sister Nellie Yusko, all deceased. She has 2 living nieces, Barbara Hart and Patricia Douglas, she was the Great Aunt to 6 nieces and nephews. Diana loved to garden, read, travel, and make quilts. Prior to her retirement in 1985 she worked as a Unit Secretary at the Washington Hospital for 20 years. She had been a member of the Holy Virgin Dormition Russian Orthodox Church of McKeesport, PA. She played a Balalaika in the church group under the direction of Reverend Dimitri Ermakov in the 1960's and 1970's. Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Wednesday December 2, 2015 from 2 till 4pm and 6 till 8pm in the Nichol Funeral Home Washington location. Burial rites will begin on Thursday December 3, 2015 at 1pm in the Nichol Funeral Home Washington Chapel, 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, PA 15301.
