Dolores (Dottie) H. Levers, 83, of Washington, PA, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015, in Washington Hospital. She lived in the Wolfdale area for most of her life before moving to Lone Pine. Dottie was born December 7, 1931 in Alleppo Township, Greene County, a daughter of the late Cecil W. Osborn e and Mary M. Wallace Osborne. Mrs. Levers attended Trinity High School. She worked at Brockway #7 Glass Company for sixteen and a half years, worked at Shop N Save as a cashier for one year. She later went on to work as a coal miner at Beth Energy for nine years before retiring in 1985. She attended North Ten Mile Baptist Church in Amity, PA, Dottie was a member of the Lone Pine V.F.D. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed bingo, fishing and her pets. She was an avid lifelong Elvis fan. Survived by aunt Clara Medure and special cousins Linda Coffey (sons Bob and Chris), Shirley Vaz and Jane Schneider (sons Ryan and Eric) who were like children to her. Other cousins, neighbors and friends including best friend Cookie Temple. Family and friends will be received Saturday, January 24 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at the Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 E. Maiden Street, Washington, PA 15301. Services will follow at the funeral home, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Forrest Lawn Garden, McMurray, PA.
