Donald C. "Bull" Devore, 72, of Washington, died Saturday May 18, 2019 in Concordia Hospice of Washington Donnell House.

He was born August 30, 1946 in Monongahela, PA a son of the late Russell F. and Nellie D. Hart Devore. He attended Trinity High School where he graduated and went on to work at Mayview State Hospital, Fort Pitt Bridge Works, Joy Manufacturing and was an A.I. technician for Southwestern Pennsylvania working for A.B.S.

Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard for 8 years.

He enjoyed farming, Pittsburgh sports (particularly the Pittsburgh Pirates) and his animals, specifically his chickens and beloved dog Mick. He also enjoyed playing slow pitch softball where he played with the world champion Sol Mintz team of Washington.

He is survived by a brother, William R. (Becky) Devore, of Washington; one niece, Kristina (Doug) Hancock and one nephew, Matthew (Jessica) Devore, both of Washington. He is also survived by two great nieces, Kennedy Devore and Harper Hancock and two great nephews, Bryce Devore and Colton Hancock.

Deceased is one brother, Richard F. Devore.

Family and friends will be received from 5-8 P.M. on Thursday, May 23rd in the Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, PA. Additional visitation will be held from 10-11 A.M. Friday, the time of service, in the Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 21 Church Road, Scenery Hill, PA 15360 with Reverend William B. Henry, Jr. officiating.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Evergreen Assisted Living and Concordia Hospice of Washington, Donnell House for the support and their loving care of Don.
