Donald Edward Fiester, 88, formerly of Evansville, IN passed away Tuesday September 11, 2012 in Washington, PA. Don was born in Evansville on October 12, 1923. He attended Central High School and Mechanic Arts then served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He spent most of his career at Sears Roebuck & Co. He and his late wife, Edith loved ballroom dancing and were charter members of the Friday Night Dance Group. Don was preceded in death by Edith, his loving wife of 65 years, and brothers Bernard, Raymond, and Louis. He is survived by a son, Wayne Fiester (Nance) of Newburgh, IN, a daughter Francine McDowell, (Mike) of Washington, PA, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom will greatly miss this kind and gentle man.
