Donald E. Loar 65 of Fredericktown died Thursday November 15, 2012 in VA hospital Pittsburgh. He was born in Washington on June 09, 1947 a son of the late Cleve and Wilda Shuman Loar. He was a 1965 graduate of Trinity High School. Mr. Loar then went on to join the United States Army where he served in Vietnam. He was an over the Road Truck Driver working for Phillip-Bell, and TLX Ace from where he retired in 1995. He enjoyed reading, especially the newspaper and was an avid Steelers fan. On September 20, 1969 he married Sally K. Vester in North Ten Mile Baptist Church, sharing over 43 years of marriage together. Surviving in addition to his wife Sally K. Loar are a son Jeremy B. (Jeannine) Loar, grandson Jackson Cole Loar, brother Robert Earl Loar, two sisters Opal (Raymond) Wright, Wilda Darlene Penrod, seven sister-in-laws Barb Loar, Linda Loar, Barbara Loar, Linda Loar, Deborah (JC) Thomas, Mary Bruno, and Rhonda (Steve) Jones as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Deceased are sister Leonna Virginia(Edward) Dye; brothers Harold Cleveland Loar, Albert Richard Loar, Gerald Franklin Loar, Andrew Jackson Loar, David Lee Loar, brother-in-laws Norman Penrod and John Vester, sister-in-laws Brenda Loar and Cathy(Kenneth) Iams. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 6-8p.m. Monday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park
