The Reverend Donald R. Snyder, Jr., was called home by his heavenly Father on Monday February 24, 2025. He dedicated his life to the ministry and doing God's will and work. He led by example and also by faith. He was born June 15, 1958 in Rochester, PA son of Donald Richard Snyder Sr. of Aliquippa and the late Clella Jean (Clark) Snyder. He was a 1976 graduate of Freedom Area High School. He then went on to Westminster College in New Wilmington where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Philosophy. Don earned two Masters degrees, a Masters of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and Master of Sacred Theology from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. He followed his calling and served the Lord in various locations throughout his career, most recently at Lone Pine Christian Church and for the longest of 17 years at First Christian Church in Beckley WV. Throughout the years Don belonged to several clubs and organizations with members of his congregation. He held the following titles; Father, Son, Husband, Brother, Gaffer, Uncle, Pastor, and Friend. He loved his family and God. He enjoyed the outdoors and all that they had to offer. He especially loved fishing the Tionesta Creek in Warren County, PA. He was a simple quiet man who enjoyed reading and spending time with his family. He adored his wife Nancy R. (Eichler) Snyder who he married on October 05, 1979. Together they shared over 45 years of marriage, raising a family and serving God. Surviving in addition to his soul mate Nancy Rae Snyder of Lone Pine and his Father Donald R. Snyder Sr. of Aliquippa are his five children Donald R. Snyder III and wife Nikki Snyder of Columbus, Indiana, Josh Snyder of Danville, KY, Melissa Rae Snyder of Huntington, WV, Abigail Quesenberry and husband Bryan Quesenberry of Wytheville, VA, Michal Meadows and husband Daniel Meadows of Seymour, Indiana, ten grandchildren Nikolas Quesenberry, Eliah Snyder, Malachi Snyder, Evangeline Newman, Williow Snyder, William Snyder, Lorelai Newman, Charleigh Snyder, Thomas Meadows, and Elizabeth Meadows, two sisters Linda Snyder of New Castle, Debbie Snyder of Aliquippa, as well as several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. Deceased are his mother Clella Snyder and step-mother Lany Snyder.A visitation will be held on Thursday February 27, 2025 from 11:00A.M.-1:00P.M. in the Lone Pine Christian Church 582 Lone Pine Road, where funeral services will be held at 1:00P.M. with Rev.
