Obituary

Donna Michele Davis, 73 of Washington, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023in UPMC Presby  after a brief illness.Donna was born on November 27, 1949 to Clyde and Elizabeth"Betty" Boehm.She atteded St. Mary's Catholic school in Pittsburgh and  graduated from Langley High School in 1967.  Following graduation she met the man of her dreams, Larry Davis, whom she married on January 24, 1970.  Larry and "his Girl" had been happily married for 53 years. Donna worked for 21 years at Hills Department store in various positions, ranging from competitive shopper, loss prevention, and customer service.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, St. James parish in Washington.   Donna loved to sing, especially Karen Carpenter songs and loved to harmonize with her late father and uncle, who sang in a Barber Shop Quartet.  She enjoyed flowers of all kinds and gardening, traveling, her most favorite destinations were Italy, Paris, Hawaii and Sannibel Island.  She loved to visit Nemacolin Woodlands and to spend time with her husband at Deep Creek Lake campground, where everyone became family.  Donna or :the pretty one" as known in her family loved family gatherings with ALL her family and friends. She was the life of the party, always fluttering around and having fun.  Donna enjoyed life and telling stories always saying "Right Hand to God"when telling them.   She liked cardinals, moths and butterflies.  Surviving in addition to her beloved husband, Larry, are their three  children, Melissa Smith (Glenn), Dean Davis & Michele Washinski (Tim); siblings, Beth Boehm (Vinny), Bobbie Frazier (Tim), Mary McCue (Denny), Patty Carson, (Dave), Amy Bossong, (Bryan). grandchildren, Gary, Greg, Chad, Brayden, Tessa, (Matt) and great-grandson Mac. Along with several nieces, nephews, very dear Aunt Katie (Dan), extended family & friends and especially her longtime best friends Carol Jesek & Patti Armstrong Denmark.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Clyde & Elizabeth (Betty), and her brother, William "Billy" Boehm (Becky).

Family and friends will be recieved Thursday May 11, 2023 from 1:00-4:00p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington.
