Donna Jean Weaver 71 of Scenery Hill went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday December 10, 2021.  She was born in Washington on March 30, 1950 a daughter of the late James W. and Mary Moore Medlen.  She was a graduate of Canon MacMillan High School.  She had various jobs throughout her life, cook, elder care, and homemaker.  She was a Christian by faith and a very religious woman.  She enjoyed gardening, loved spending time with her granddaughter and always being there for her family and friends which was very important.  On February 14, 1970 she married Harry Dennis Weaver with whom she shared 45 years of marriage before his passing in 2015.  She is survived by two sons Jason Weaver and Daniel Weaver both of Scenery Hill, granddaughter Jaylynn Jean, siblings Maryetta Saffell of Avella, James (Janet) Medlen of Washington, Nancy (Donnie) Medlen- Carpenter of Labelle, Alberta (Roy) Jackson of Moundsville, WV, Albert "Dave" (Lorraine) Medlen of Clarksville, Tammy Medlen of Washington, as well as several nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will be received Thursday from 6-8p.m. and Friday from 2-4p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington where funeral services will be held on Friday December 17, 2021 at 4:00p.m. with Rev. Fran Skariott officiating.
