Obituary
Dorothy Jean Crile Conkle 94 of Washington died Thursday February 8, 2018 in Southmont.
She was born in Amwell Township on May 29, 1923 a daughter of Harry H. and
Nellie Mae Reeves Crile.
She was a graduate of Trinity High School.
She went on to work at Woolworths, Duncan Miller, Singer Sewing Machine,
Flis
Five Bridal, and also did alterations on her own
She was a 70 member of Lone Pine Christian Church where she served as deaconess for many years, sang in the choir, and volunteered many hours.
She enjoyed playing cards and loved to dance.
She belonged to the Senior Citizens in Washington.
On March 4, 1943 she married Merle Dean Conkle with whom she shared over 40 years of marriage before his passing on January 11, 1986.
She is survived by a sister Mary Jane Crile and a brother Paul Crile, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are a sister Ruth Ann Davidson and four brothers Blain, Kenneth, Eugene, and Roy Crile. Family and friends will be received Sunday February 11, 2018 from 1-6p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington where Funeral services will be held at 6:00p.m. Sunday February 11, 2018 with Pastor John Owens officiating.
Interment will be private.
