Dorothy V Iddings, 83, of Marianna, PA, died peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with cancer on February 16, 2012. She was born December 26, 1928; the daughter of the late Henry and Lillian Donahoo in West Bethlehem Township. Dorothy was very active in West Bethlehem Township, serving as the Township Secretary and Treasurer from 1981 through the late 1990's. Additionally, she spent many years volunteering her accounting services to local businesses, friends and family. Prior to these years of services she also worked for the Gerald Stein Company as an office manager. On August 16, 1947, she married the late William E. Iddings. She is survived by a daughter Karen (Tom) Bane of Marianna, PA and two grandsons, Shane (Patty) Bane of Claysville, PA and James Arcuri of State College, PA. Dorothy left a lasting and optimistic imprint on everyone she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received in the Nichol Funeral Home, 1728 Main Street, Marianna, PA Friday from 3 -5 and 7-9pm and Saturday from noon until 1:00p.m. the time of funeral services with Rev. Jim Donahoo officiating.
