Edward Leland Krepps 80 of Waynesburg died Wednesday April 20, 2016 in his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 28, 1936 in Cardale, PA a son of the late Paul and Thelma Krepps. He was a 1954 graduate of Uniontown high school. He then attended Waynesburg College. He worked as a Specialties Department Office Manager for Jessop Steel until his retirement in 1998. He was a member of Laboratory Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder. He was a lifetime member of the Elks, a past member of South Strabane Volunteer Fire Department. He loved gardening, square dancing, camping, and gaming. He especially loved spending time with his family and all family activities. On October 11, 1957 he married Ellen A. Krepps with whom he has shared over 58 years of marriage. Surviving in addition to his wife are three children Kevin L. Krepps of Claysville, Edward L. Krepps II of Washington, Pamela J. Cursi and husband Stephen of Waynesburg, a brother Paul R. Krepps and wife Nancy of Washington, four grandchildren Kevin R. Krepps, Kristin R. Lemley and husband Chris, Crystal L. Cursi, Stephen A. Cursi, as well as six nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his parents is a daughter in law Brenda L. Krepps. Family and friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington. Additional visitation will be held Saturday April 23 , 2016 from 10-11:00a.m. the time of service in Laboratory Presbyterian Church 33 Manse Street, Washington, PA 15301 with Pastor Donna Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Forest lawn Garden, McMurray.
