Elizabeth Mae Jenkins 78 of Amity passed away peacefully in her home  surrounded by her loving family on Sunday January 2, 2022.  She was born April 20, 1944 in Salina Kansas, a daughter of the late Jessie B. and Shirley K. Hardisty Temple.  On September 20, 1962 she married Clarence "Duck" Jenkins of Amity with whom she has shared almost 60 years of marriage.  Surviving in addition to her husband are children Gloria (James) Sprowls of Amity, Tammy (Pete Sickeri) Edgar of Dubois, Dennis (Kimberly) Jenkins of Houston, Agnes (Larry) Hancock of Washington, two sisters Maxine Gray of Grafton Ohio, Alice Wilson of Waynesburg, brother Harold Temple of West Virginia, 8 grandchildren James (Britney) Sprowls, Jamie (Nick) Rozzo, Buddy Garber, Jason Garber, Maggie Whelpley, Rylan Ridley, Jacquelyn Jenkins, Stephany Jenkins, 11 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Deceased in addition to her parents are siblings Harry Temple, Artie Temple, Nancy Temple, and Sonny Temple.  Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 5-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington where funeral services will be held at 8:00p.m. Wednesday January 5, 2022.  Interment will be private.  An online guestbook may be signed at www.nicholfuneralhome.com
