Elizabeth Roberta Shimrock 95 of Marianna died February 28 2023 in the Donnell House, Washington.  She was born in Marianna on December 8, 1927 daughter of the late John and Antoinette Molish Golsky.  She was a graduate of West Bethlehem High Schol.  Elizabeth worked as a secretary for Bethlehem Mines.  She was a lifelong member of the former  Sts Mary & Ann Catholic Church St. Oliver Plunkett Parish Marianna, now St. Katherine Drexel Parish.  In 1949 she married Thomas Shimrock with who she shared over 30 years of marriage before his passing.  She is survived by son Thomas J. (Dana) Shimrock of Grantsville, MD, and daughter Christine H. Shimrock of Morgantown, WV, grandson Jesse (Liz) Shimrock of Deep Creek, MD.  Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are siblings Joh GOlsky, Walter Golsky, Helen Juracko, Mary Rozak, Esther Kozloff, Anne Dutko.  At the request of the deceased services were held privately and arranged by Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden St. Washington.  An online guestbook may be signed at www.nicholfuneralhome.com In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Concordia Hospice of Washington Donnell House Donate - Concordia Lutheran Ministries (concordialm.org)
