Esther Morris Price, 93, of Washington passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 in Dunedin, Florida. She was born September 27, 1921 in Erie, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Reverend David and Daisy Paul Morris. She was a 1939 graduate of Washington High School and attended Alderson Broadus College. She worked as a bookkeeper at JCPenney and W.G.A. until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Washington where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She was an avid coin collector and member of the local Girls' Softball Boosters Club. On February 12, 1942 she married William E. Price Sr. who is deceased. She is survived by five children, Diana Martin (Richard) of Washington, David Price (Susan) of Palm Harbor, Florida, William Price Jr. (Jane) of Canton, Ohio, Janet Price of Dunedin, Florida, and Nancy Davern of Erie, Pennsylvania. She was lovingly known as Gammie to her grandchildren Lori Devey, Steven Martin, Katie Price, Kellie Hamilton, Joey Price, Tommy Price, Jillian Davern, Josh Davern, Jake Davern, seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband are three sisters, Miriam Coelho, Ruth Hall, and Elizabeth Posa. A memorial service will be held at the family's convenience at Nichol Funeral Home in Washington, Pennsylvania.
