Floyd G. Sprowls 63 of Marianna died Tuesday October 29, 2024 in UPMC Washington.  He was born November 8, 1961 a son of the late James Clifford Sprowls Sr. and Norma Jean Nestor Sprowls.  He was a 1982 graduate of Trinity High School.  Floyd enjoyed working at McNay excavating where his colleagues became family.  He enjoyed fishing, drag racing, motorcycles and playing guitar.   In 1987 he marred Shirley Edgar Sprowls with whom he has shared 37 years of marriage.  Surviving in addition to his wife are daughter Cynthia and  her husband (Floyd's son-in-law and best friend Eric Young), granddaughter Madaline, two sisters Glenda (Bob) Jenkins and Donna (Keith) Dye, sister-in-law Gloria Sprowls, as well as several nieces and nephews and two friends who were like brothers Jim Lewis and Bruce Tharp.   Deceased in addition to his parents are a brother James C. Sprowls Sr., two sisters Cathy Scopel and Robin Mohler. Family and friends will be received Friday from 2:00-6:00P.M. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, where funeral services will be held at 6:00P.M.
