Frank C. McCoy, 88, of Claysville, PA, died Sunday, April 30, 2017. He was born November 27, 1928, in Lone Pine, PA, a son of the late Frank and Edith Sowers McCoy. He was married to the late Marian (Mary Lou) Crispin. He attended Sowers School. He was employed at Brockway Glass #1 in Washington, PA from 1952 – 1967. He then went to work at Cooper Industry, the former McGraw-Edison Company in Canonsburg from 1967 – 1990. He joined the U.S. Marine Corp. in 1947 and was honorably discharged in 1951. Frank attended Lone Pine Christian Church. He was a member of the American Legion Post #175 in Washington, PA and belonged to several other clubs in the Washington area. Surviving is a daughter Shirley (Glen) Garrett of Claysville, PA; two brothers Duane Rasel, Lone Pine, Jim Rasel, Washington, and one sister, Ruth Kelley of Washington. He is also survived by three grandchildren Glen (Jesse) Garrett, Jr., Rick (Robin) Garrett and Christy (John) Klepsic all of Claysville, five great grandchildren and three great great grandson and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, deceased are a son Jeffrey McCoy who died in 2005, and a brother Boyd McCoy.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017, with Pastor Linda Mankey, officiating.
