Freda M. Haines Bails 91 of Scenery Hill died Friday October 4, 2013 in McMurray Hills Manor. She was born September 7, 1922 in Greene County, a daughter of the James Irwin and Mary J. Waychoff Haines. She was a graduate of Carmichaels High School and Duff's Business School. She worked as an office worker in Waynesburg Hospital. She was a member of Fordyce Methodist Church in Gerard's Fort and an American Legion Auxiliary member in Phoenix Arizona. On June 2, 1942 she married E. Carl Bails Sr. who is deceased. She is survived by two children Elinor (Charles) Ross of Scenery Hill and E. Carl Bails Jr.of Arizona, 5 grandchildren Lori A. Ross, Melissa L. Allender, Chad W. Ross, Kaycee Bails, Wesley Bails, 7 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces, and great nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are a daughter, Sharon K. Bails in infancy, brothers Francis, Donald, and Halford Haines, sister Louise Carroll. Friends and family will be received Monday October 7, 2013 from 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. the time of service in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East maiden Street Washington with Rev. Peter D. Asplin officiating. Internment will follow in Lone Pine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Building Fund 21 Church Road Scenery Hill, PA 15360
