Gail Hewitt Doman, 81 passed away on July 3, 2024 in UPMC Washington, following a brief illness.   She was born February y10, 1943 to the late Raymond (Darby) Hewitt and Bertha Crile Hewitt.  On April 8th 1959 she married Elmer Doman with whom she shared 62 years of marriage until his death in 2021.  She lived with her daughter and son-in-law  Suzanna Doman and Robert Young.  Surviving in addition are daughter Ellen (Bob) Behun, son Elmer "Nate" (Cheryl Durbin)Doman, grandchildren Nicholas Behun, Ira (Leslie) Baldwin, Jeremy (Danielle) Baldwin, and Danielle (Michael) Rush, great-grandchildren Dalton Baldwin, Delaynie Baldwin, Hunter Rush, and Grady Rush, a brother Leo Hewitt, as well as many nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her loving husband Elmer Doman, daughter Brenda Lee Doman, parents, seven sisters, and a brother.  Family and friends will be received on Tuesday July 9, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 10, 2024 at 9:30 a.m.   Interment will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies,  Bridgeville.  An online guestbook may be signed at www.nicholfuneralhome.com
