George "Tom" Williamson Jr. 54 of Washington died Saturday November 19 2011 in the Donnell House. He was born in Washington on September 5, 1957 a son of George T. and Patricia J. Crawford Williamson. He was a 1977 graduate of Trinity High School. He worked for Washington Ford as a parts truck driver. Mr. Williamson was affiliated with laboratory Presbyterian church. He enjoyed muscle cars, especially old fords and Chryslers, loved going to model car shows, building and collecting model cars, was an avid college sports fan, especially for the Florida State Seminoles, was a big fan of Westerns, had a love for animals and his nephews as well as most importantly loved his family; always being instrumental in getting them together. He is survived by his mother Patrician J. Williamson of Washington, sister Dawn M. (Walter) Holt, brother Jason (Melissa) Williamson, nephews Josh (Jessica) Holt, Samuel (Alyssa) Holt, Matthew Williamson, nieces Alissa Holt, Emily Williamson and Haley Williamson, great niece Gracie Holt, great nephews Payton Holt, and Aiden "Hot Rod" Holt. Deceased are his father George T. Williamson and maternal grandmother Gram Crawford. Friends will be received Monday from 1-4 and 6-9p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington where funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 22, 2011 at 1:00p.m.with George Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in Washington cemetery.
