Gertrude "Mildred" Makowski 86 of Mt. Pleasant died Monday October 27, 2014. She was born on August 30, 1928 in Bethel Twp., Allegheny Co, a daughter of the late Frank and Helen Stenaski Exler. She was a longtime member of St. Oliver Plunkett parish Sts. Mary and Ann Roman Catholic Church, Marianna. She shared many years of marriage with the late Edward W. Makowski who died in January 1994. She is survived by two daughters Diane Betts of Prosperity, Maureen (William) Metts of Perryopolis, a son Edward F. Makowski of Mt. Pleasant, two sisters Agnus Condruck of Hopewell, Clara Gallagher of Finleyville, two brothers Bob Exler of Bethel Park, Tom Exler of Shaler Twp., six grandchildren five great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband are a sister Marge Ceney and two brothers John Exler and Joe Exler.
