Gloria J. Whitmer 76 of Amity died Sunday September 8 2024 in her home with her family by her side.  She was born in Washington on October 3, 1947, daughter of the late Elmer Dean and Jean Louise King Schultz.   She was a graduate of Trinity High School.   Gloria had various jobs throughout her life, but the most important to her was being a Mother and homemaker.   She enjoyed playing pool, participating in many local pool leagues, and was a member of the Moose.   Gloria loved all variety of flowers and to shop.   On August 2, 2013 she married Jack Whitmer of Amity.   In addition to her loving husband are a daughter Melissa McKenna, son David Martin, step son Jeff Whitmer and stepdaughter Kim Whitmer, a brother Kenneth (Claudia) Schultz, and two grandchildren Alaina and Mason McKenna.  Family and friends will be received on Friday September 13, 2024 in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington from 2-4 and 6-8P.M., the time of funeral service.  An online guestbook may be signed at www.nicholfuneralhome.com
