Gregg W. Herrington, 65, of Amity, Pa died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born October 28, 1953 in Waynesburg, PA, a son of Charles and Ethel Johnson Herrington.

He was a graduate of Waynesburg High School and the Dean Technical School.  Gregg was a design draftsman for the Paul Wurth, Inc. for 27 years.

He was a past member of the Kirby Methodist Church.  He enjoyed trapping, hunting for Ginseng, Metal Detecting, Gardening, Working in the yard and Watching all the Pittsburgh Sport Teams.

On June 11, 1988, he married Judy Kerns.

Surviving are his wife Judy Herrington of Amity, PA and his mother Ethel Johnson Herrington of Waynesburg, PA.  One daughter Trisha (Bradley) Rupp of Canonsburg, PA and one son Brad Herrington, of Amity, PA.  Two sisters: Gwen (Bill) Cross of Rogersville, PA and Jan Morton of Waynesburg, PA. and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to his father Charles Herrington is one brother Randy Herrington.

There will be no public visitation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018 in the Amity United Methodist Church, Amity, PA 15311.
