Gregory Scott Whitmer, 40, of Coal Center, PA, passed away on October 20, 2015. He was born November 5, 1974, the son of Susan I. Galbreath, Ingomar, PA, and Jack A. Whitmer, Amity, PA. He attended North Allegheny High School and Beatty Technological School. Gregory was a member of the Ironworkers Local #3. In addition to his parents, Gregory is survived by his daughter, Josalyn Whitmer and son, Ryeder Whitmer, both of Coal Center, PA, and their mother Valerie Hormell; brother, Jeff Whitmer, sister, Kim Whitmer, stepfather, Don Galbreath of Ingomar, PA , stepmother, Gloria Whitmer, Amity, PA; step brother, Rob Galbreath, step sisters Sheryl Snyder and Kari Galbreath, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received in the Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, PA 15301 on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., the time of service, with the Rev.
