H. Linn Weaver , 80, of Amity died Saturday November 4, 2017 in the Donnell House. He was born August 25, 1937 a son of the late Henry and Betty Iams Weaver. He was a graduate of Trinity High School. Linn worked as a Metalurgist for Molycorp for 33 years before his retirement.
He was a member of the Lone Pine Christian Church, a charter member of the Lone Pine Volunteer Fire Company where he served as secretary for many years. He was a member of the National Pike Steam, Gas and Horse Association and the Waynesburg Moose Lodge. Linn was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his two dogs Jill and Ginger.
On October 25, 1958 he married Shirley Mounts Weaver. They shared 56 years of marriage before her passing on October 17, 2014. He is survived by one son Barry Weaver of Washington, Two granddaughters; Nicole Burns and ShaLinn Weaver, Two great grandchildren; Peyton and Cameron Burns.
Deceased in addition to his parents and wife are three children; Robert Scott Weaver , Christy McDonald, and Darla Burns.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday November 7, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday November 8, 2017 with the Rev. Linda Mankey officiating in the Nichol Funeral Home Washington PA. Memorial Services will be conducted by the Washington Moose Lodge #22 and the Lone Pine Volunteer Fire Company on Tuesday. An on line guestbook may be signed at www.nicholfuneralhome.com
