Obituary

Howard B. "Jim" Frazee, 74 of Lone Pine died Tuesday December 15, 2015 in Transitions Healthcare, Washington. He was born at home in Lone Pine, a son of the late Howard Watson and Margie Hupp Frazee. He was a 1959 graduate of Trinity High School. Jim served in the United States Army as a wireman, stationed in Alaska from 1963-1965 and then inactive duty in the United States Army Reserves from 1965-1969. He worked for Washington Mould and then retired from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. He was a lifetime member of Lone Pine Christian Church. He was active in his community. He was a charter member and lifetime member of Lone Pine Volunteer Fire Department, helping to lay the bricks of the first Fire Hall. He coached baseball for many years in the Ten Mile Valley Baseball League and enjoyed watching his kids play and attending Washington Wildthings games. Mr. Frazee enjoyed going to Disney World with his family. He shared 37 years of marriage with his wife Marcia Piatt Frazee.   Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons Wesley A. (Brandi) Frazee of Washington, Ryan J. (Monica) Frazee of Prosperity, Brandon M. Frazee of Washington, a granddaughter Makenna Frazee, siblings: Darlene (Ronnie) Locy, Sharon (Ed) Wiley, Jerry (Beverly) Frazee, Dee Frazee Sr., Ann (Scott) Reeves, step mother Wanda Frazee, stepbrothers George "Max" (Billie Jo) Maxwell, Kevin Maxwell, and Keith (Mary Beth) Maxwell, as well as several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his parents are a brother John W. Frazee. Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 7-9p.m., Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, where funeral services will be held on Friday December 18, 2015 at 11:00a.m. with Pastor Linda Mankey officiating. Interment will follow in Lone Pine Cemetery. A fireman's service will be held by the Lone Pine Volunteer Fire Department on Thursday December 17, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home. Full military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post 175 of Washington.
