James Jackson Cox, age 68 of Washington died Sunday January 30, in the Paramount Senior Living Center in Bethel Park. He was born September 23, 1942 in Washington the son of James H. and Elizabeth Huffman Cox. He attended Trinity High School and was a member of the Amity Methodist Church. He was a glassblower for Ball Glass Co. in Washington for over 15 years. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and enjoyed golfing. He is survived by 2 sons: James Jay (Tricia) Cox of Bethel Park and Rick (Becky) Cox of Amity A brother, Tom (Sharon) Cox of Amity and 2 sisters Sue(Gene) Rasel of Washington and Pam (Doug) Korzum of Morgantown. Eight Grandchildren: Nick, Mack, Lucas, Brett, Madison & Alicia Cox, Nick and Dominic Neff. Several Nieces and nephews. Deceased are his wife Marlene Neff Cox, his son Michael D. Cox and a sister Carol Cox. Family and friends will be received 4-8 P.M. Tuesday February 1 in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday February 2, 2011 with Pastor Stephen Parkhill officiating. Interment will follow in the Amity Methodist Church Cemetery.
