James C. Sprowls Jr. of Amity passedpeacefully in his sleep with his wife by his side on December 27, 2023.  He was born August 31, 1959 in Washington, PA, son of the late James C. Sprowls Sr. and Norma J. Sprowls.  On July 18, 1981 he married Gloria (Jenkins) Sprowls.  They shared 42 years of marriage.  Their love story was one for the ages.  He worked at Al's Discount Tire for 18 years beforeretiring December 2014.  Surviving in addition to his wife are his children James C. (Brittney) Sprowls III of Amity, and Jamie (Nicolas) Rozzo of Chartiers, Grandchildren Adrianna and Brayden Rozzo and Madison Sprowls, two sisters Glenda (Bob) Jenkins, Donna (Keith) Dye, brother Floyd (Shirley) Sprowls, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Deceased in addition to his parents are two sisters Cathy Scopel and Robin Mohler.  Jim enjoyed hanging out with his family and dog JB who he loved dearly.  He loved watching his grandchildren play sports, enjoyed cook outs, trips to Erie, and hanging with his friends at Rinky Dinks Roadhouse.  He was the life of the party and loved his family with his whole heart.  Family and friends will be received Saturday from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. and 2:00p.m.-4:00p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington where funeral services will be held at 4:00p.m. Saturday December 30, 2023.  Private interment will be held.  An online guestbook may be signed at www.nicholfuneralhome.com
