Janet Elaine Cale 67 of Washington passed away Tuesday April 1, 2014 in the Donnell House Washington. She was born February 27, 1947 in Washington, daughter of E. Bryan and Wilma Cale. She enjoyed music, camping, bowling, nature, and life to the fullest. She was very active in softball in the Special Olympics. She was in Girl Scouts as well as was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Washington. During her life she went to Intermediate Unit Opportunity Center and was one of eight workers that started the Industrial Workshop, which is now ARC of Meadowlands. She was employed at ARC, Greene County Recycling Program and also worked for Penn Dot Welcome Center in Claysville. She resided at the Washington Greene ARS. Left to cherish her memory, are her parents E. Bryan and Wilma Cale of Washington, brother Ed (Rosalie) Cale of hamburg, sister Jane (Ron) Mote of Cellegedale, TN, as well as several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. Thursday in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, where funeral services will be held on Friday April 4, 2014 at 11:00a.m. with Pastor Bob Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Forest lawn Gardens.
