Joanne Louise Hustava 69 of Coal Center died Wednesday June 2, 2011 in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born on April 25, 1942 in Marianna, a daughter of Stanley and Catherine Vargo Smalley. She attended Marianna schools and worked as a custodian for California University of Pennsylvania until her retirement in 2003. She was a member of Sts Mary & Ann Roman Catholic Church St Oliver Plunkett parish of Marianna, enjoyed bowling, BINGO, and going to the casino. She is survived by her husband of 32 years John Hustava of coal Center, 3 children Steve (Sheri) Smalley, Sherri (Monty) Turner, James (Danielle) Hustey, mother Catherine Smalley, 4 grandchildren Jonathon Tindall, Andrew Smalley, Jaidyn Hustey, River Hustey, 2 brothers Stanley Smalley, George Smalley, 4 sisters Catherine Matula, Irene Price, Patricia Price, and Rosemary Ritenour, and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. Deceased is her father Stanley Smalley. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1728 Main Street Marianna, PA 15345 where services will be held on Saturday June 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Paul Grunebach officiating.
