Johnetta Shriver, 91 of Marianna, PA died Thursday, February 2, 2017. She was born March 12, 1925 in Greene County, PA, a daughter of the late Floyd and Ica Anderson Antill. On November 1, 1941, she married Chester W. Shriver, who passed away in September 1994. She owned and operated Hazel's Truck Stop in Amity, PA. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Fredericktown, PA. She enjoyed baking and needlework. She is survived by five daughters Joan (Richard) Ansell, Marianna, PA, Betty Lou (Everett) Sine, Fairview, WV, Catherine N. (Victor) Patterson, Amity, PA, Mary E. (Ralph) Lemley, Marianna, PA, Donna M. Zook, New Cumberland, WV and one son, Robert (Regina) Shriver, San Antonio, TX, a daughter-in-law Denese Shriver Conaway, Wadestown, WV. Also surviving are a brother Robert Antill, Washington, PA and a sister Kathleen Ekaitis, Delaware, OH, 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great- grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, deceased are two sons, Chester W. Shriver, Jr. and Floyd W. Shriver who passed away in 1977 and three half -brothers.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. the time of funeral service in the Nichol Funeral Home, 1728 Main Street, Marianna, PA with the Rev. Max Miller officiating. Interment will be at Horn Cemetery, Marianna, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the charity of your choosing.
