Jonas E. (Doodle) Harvey, 86, of Marianna, passed away August 4, 2021.  He was born September30, 1934 in Oakland Maryland to the late Jonas and Elsie Wilson Harvey.   He served with the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.  Jonas worked for US Steel, Maple Creek Mine until his retirement in 1990.  He was a member of the Centerville American Legion and the  V.F.W.  Jonas was an avid fisherman and hunter.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Lancaster Harvey whom he shared 64 years of marriage.  Three daughters; Bambi Kennedy, Carla Harvey and Bobbie (Mark) Freeman.  Two brothers, Ralph Richard Harvey and William Harvey.  Five grandchildren; Brian Young, Bonnie Young, Chase Freeman, Chandler Harvey and Savannah Freeman (Benjamin)Powell  Three great grandchildren; Evan Young, Elexa Harvey and Tristan Harvey.

He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Harvey, a son-in-law Auburn "Auz" Kennedy and a son-in-law, David Shadeck.

There will be no public visitation.  Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
