Joyce Ann Eustis 72 of Lone Pine died Thursday May 7, 2015 in Presbyterian Senior Care-Southmont. She was born in Washington on June 15, 1942 a daughter of David L. and Lucille Johns Frazee. She was a 1961 graduate of Trinity High School and then went on to Beauty Academy. She worked as a teachers aide for Intermediate Unit 1 for many years until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of Lone Pine Christian Church, where she served as a Youth Group Leader and a member of Lone Pine Ladies Volunteer Fire Department Auxilliary. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, cross stitch, and tole painting. She also enjoyed baking cookies and spending time with her granddaughters and great granddaughter. She is survived by a son James Allen Eustis of Lone Pine, a daughter Amy Lea Gatewood, two granddaughters Coree Gatewood of Lone Pine, Arin Gatewood of Lone Pine, a great granddaughter Alaina Katherine Lucille Green. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2-4p.m. Monday 2-4 and 6-8p.m. Tuesday 9:30-10:30a.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington. Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 12, 2015 at 11:00a.m. in Lone Pine Christian Church with Pastor John Owen officiating. Interment will follow in Lone Pine Cemetery.
