Kathleen V. "Kathy" Lilja 70, of Washington, beloved wife of Vince Lilja died January 17, 2016 in Kade Nursing Home. She was born on July 2, 1945 in Broughton, WV, the daughter of the late William and Dora Elliott. She graduated from high school in Ohio. Mrs. Lilja was employed at K-Mart in Washington until her retirement in 1995. She attended 7 th Day Adventist Church in Washington. Mrs. Lilja loved to laugh, enjoyed romantic comedies, babies, and the elderly. She also loved her Labrador retrievers. Kathy always woke up smiling and was true to her friends. She is survived by her loving husband Vince, whom she married on August 11, 2001; sons Frank Galizia III, and Vincent E. (Stephanie) Galizia, sister Betty Harvey. Preceding her in death where her sisters Geraldine, Ruby, Pansy, Violet, an infant sister who died at birth, brothers Arlin, Bobby, Frankie, William, Leonard, and Gerald. Family and friends will be received Thursday January 21, 2016 in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington from 2-4 and 5-7p.m. with a funeral service being held at 4:00p.m.
