Lauren Marie Griffith 33 of Washington died Saturday December 2, 2023.  She was born in Athens Georgia on June 23, 1990.  She was a graduate of Penn Hills High School and then went on to Sanford Brown Institute where she earned her Surgical Technician degree.  Lauren worked for Dr. Salvitti at the PA Southwestern Eye Institute. She loved to design and decorate, bake cookies and her special apple pie.  She loved attending her kids events and helping with Awanna.  She was a member of the Washington Alliance CMA.  On February 27, 2012 she married Andy Griffith with whom she has shared 11 wonderful years of marriage.   Surviving in addition to her husband are sons Andrew (10), Derek (7), Walter (5), Wyatt (4), stepson Aiden (13), mother Colleen and Ray Livingston of Pittsburgh, Father Larry and Heather Donaldson of Ebensburg, sister Emily Donaldson, Brothers Zachary Donaldson and Alex Donaldson,  nephew Jahmahr Webley, nephew Tyler Donaldson, nieces Abigail and Laila Donaldson, mother and father in law Dom and Brenda Griffith, brother in law Luke Griffith, sister in law Amanda Griffith Yarger, paternal grandmother Mary Anne Smith, Grandmother in law Florence Drabeck, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.   She was predeceased by maternal grandparents Tony and Tessie Schirato, Paternal Grandfather Robert Donaldson, special Grandmother Christina Nesbeth, Grandfather in law Walt Drabeck.  Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington.  Funeral Services will be held on Friday December 8, 2023 at 11:00a.m. in the Washington Alliance Church 246 Sanitarium Rd.
