Leonard B. Hancher 62 of Butler formerly of Washington died Friday December 2, 2022 in his home.  He was born May 23, 1960 in Washington, son of the late Kilbourn O. Hancher Jr. and Marjorie Riggs Hancher.  He was a 1978 graduate of Washington High School.  He worked for Sysco Food Services as a truck driver for over 36 years.  He enjoyed mowing grass, chopping wood, weight lifting, watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers, loved going to the beach and his cats, JJ and Cheeto.  On July 12, 1980 he married Shelane  (McCombs) Hancher with whom he has shared over 42 years of marriage.  Surviving in addition to his wife are a son Ryan and wife Lisa Hancher of Sanford, N.C., two brothers Rodney and wife Diane Hancher of Bethel Park, Kibby and wife Jamie Hancher of Georgia, a grandson Liam Hancher.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister Cheryl Ward.
